Business Cards for Studio GOODBAD
I made these business cards in mid 2018 for my studio, Studio GOODBAD. The cards are meant to showcase my aesthetics and ability to think outside of the box, while also functioning as business cards. Their design is inspired by Pokémon cards, though most of the text and imagery are absent or minimized. The artwork on the front of the cards is a piece I created by creasing a rainbow with my folds in my own palm. The lightning bolt on the back is a symbol I use in the branding of the studio, and the background on the back is a heavily modified version of a fern pattern available as a desktop wallpaper in Windows 95, a nod to my use of nostalgic imagery in my art.
The thick spot finish covers all the white areas and artwork on the card, giving it a unique feel in your fingers.
